“It’s 7.23am but where is the sun” I kept saying to myself.
I saw three cruise liners coming into port as I patiently waited for the sun to appear. You can see this one going by the breakwater into Grand Harbour on the other side of Valletta. This is the second ship of the three. I took shots of all three but the first one appeared suddenly and I wasn’t prepared for it and by the time I set my camera it was already behind Fort St Elmo.
I am enjoying taking these shots, I wake up a tad earlier to get to the location I earmark before – never very far away – I enjoy the drive because traffic on the road is still scarce and I can find a quick parking. I went again yesterday – Saturday is the day I find most convenient – and I have realised I have another weekend before me before we change to Winter time.
Thank you so much for viewing and for your comments and fav's on yesterday's picture. Very much appreciated.
Great view on and capture of the harbour and boats. The big one is amazing but I love the sailing ones better. ( Lived near a shipyard that build those giants.)
The soil in our area is mainly clay . The best soil for growings. ( I`ll show you a pic. of it to day.) There are some spots with sand or peat but those are nature bound
