I have never visited this cave but thousands, and perhaps millions, of tourists have. In Summer and also when weather permits in Winter, boats sail out of Wied iż-Żurrieq with tourists and bring them to visit this cave and others in this cliffy area of Malta.
I took this from a view point above the Grotto. You can see two boats, one coming out and the other going into the cave.
Amazing and a formidable natural structure -- no wonder it is called the blue grotto with the beautiful blue sea . To me it looks like a huge angry ogre with his eyebrows and nose reaching out to sea !
A beautiful capture of this wonder of nature.
( I`m born , and live a long time, in a big city . (The Hague) . But now I prefer the country best. In the country you can be alone . In a big city I feel longely. It`s crowded with hasty people and the air is killing you. It suffocating me being in the crowd where no one notice you)
