This shot was taken on 18th December, 2016 when JP. Ian and I went to Turin to watch the football match between Juventus and Roma.
The game won, the stomachs full and wine (lots of it) give this result. It was a lovely ending for a beautiful day with JP and Ian, even though my team (Roma) lost.
Ian had booked a table at a restaurant, barely a 100 metres away from our hotel, where we could dine after the match without having to use the car. His calculations were that we could be at the restaurant at around 11.00pm. Instead we got stuck in traffic and were there at midnight and came out of the restaurant at around 2.00 in the morning, the three of us were happier than usual because of the amount of wine we drank combined with the good food. Three cheers to the restaurant owner, or manager, for accepting to wait for us and for his fantastic service. I think the man behind JP and Ian is him as he closed shop immediately we left, having patiently given us all the time we wanted and a free liquer in the end.
Many thanks for looking and for the comments and fav’s on yesterday’s picture.
