Last Tuesday, exactly one week ago, Christine (my wife) and I took our grandson, Max, to watch the children’s Carnival parade in Valletta. The children’s parade takes place on Tuesday morning but the carnival begins Friday evening and continues till Tuesday late at night with various activities each day. Then comes Ash Wednesday and everybody is expected to fast though few people do.
As we entered Valletta I saw this lovely girl in her beautiful costume. She must have been sitting on some stool which I couldn’t see. This was my first shot of the day. More pictures to follow.
