When we saw the end of the parade we walked out of Valletta to Floriana where many of the carnival floats were parked waiting to come out for the evening’s parade with the participation of all the dancing groups in a final round of merry-making which would go up to midnight and, perhaps, beyond.
All the floats and dancing groups had their own theme. This float, as you can see, had the film ‘Sister Act’ as its theme. In my opinion, the artists did a very good job with papier mache and plaster when impersonating the two nuns, one of them Whoopi Goldberg.
