The Alhambra (in Granada, Andalusia) is an amazing place. I was particularly awed as I walked behind our guide through the Moorish palace keeping in mind that it goes back to even before the 15th century. The walls were all covered with these intricate carvings, many of them including praise for Allah. I chose this shot because it shows clearly the designs of the carved wall.
