Shot taken on 11th July, 2017 – fifth day of our Sorrento holiday.
Another shot from Pompeii. This is one beautiful house that looks like it withstood the volcano eruption. I would say this was a rich man’s house.

I think there are some houses they have removed all the ash from and restored. This looks like one of them. If I remember correctly the soot actually ended up preserving quite a bit. The artwork is very impressive and my husband the tiler would be very impressed with the mosaics. Nice shot!
