This is a shot from the balcony of St John’s Cathedral in Valletta. I am not completely pleased with it – in my view I could have taken a better shot. But I have to say that the circumstances weren’t very favourable for me: lack of light, camera hand-held and others milling around me. I took several shots but I think this was the best of them.
Like I said yesterday, this was something not to be missed - it was the first time ever that people were allowed to go up to the balcony of the cathedral to see it and record it on camera from this magnificent view-point.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
Really stunning view! Sometimes it would be nice to have these places just to yourself - people who are not photographers just seem oblivious to you & get in the way! I like this shot though.
We just had a speaker at photo club who does the interiors of churches etc. and her work was wonderful. She would have enjoyed that opportunity! Your shot is amazing. fav
