We were looking for the Lisbon cathedral and when we came to it, it looked so small and unimpressive when we went in. Then I saw the entrance to the crypt and I suggested we go down and have a look. Down there we discovered that that was the exact place where St Anthony of Padova was born. We knew he was actually Portuguese but never expected to come to his birthplace just like that. At the bottom of the picture I inserted the commemorative plaque of the event.
Christine (my wife) is very devoted to St Anthony. In Malta he is known for “finding lost things” and Christine prays to him even to find us a parking when we go out to Sliema in Summer when all the roads are crammed with parked cars (haha but this is true).
Many thanks for your views, comments, and FAV’s. They are very much appreciated.
