But only after we heard an announcement on the loudspeakers that photography was not allowed during the show. You can imagine my disappointment especially when I had a lady official barely one metre away from me.
However I made plans to take some sneaky shots, come what may. I first set the speed, exposure and ISO on the camera and made sure the focus was on auto before the show started. When the show started I placed the camera on my knee, shielded the focus lamp with one hand so it could not be seen from the side and muffled the click of the shoot button with the same hand. I used the other hand to click the shoot button. At the same time I made as if I was just holding the camera not to let it drop off my knee and clicked away throughout the show while I comfortably watched the show. However, I couldn’t get rid of the safety bar because it was higher than my knee
.
My brother-in-law, who was sitting two seats further way tried to take a shot but he was caught and stopped immediately. Other persons who tried were treated likewise.
Haha, I enjoyed reading some cheeky comments on yesterday's picture. Many thanks for all the view comments and fav's/
I was wondering why the bar was always in the way. now I know. sneeking eh,. thumbs up for you. I would've tried the same. who doesn't try will never know. great shots of the first two horse and riders and the line up.
Great shots and a beautiful collage to show the show.
