I have photographed this shrine many, many times and from many different angles but I was never there to take a shot like this in the blue evening hours.
It is a habit for us now, or, if you want to say so, our devotion, to visit this shrine of Our Lady of Pinu everytime we visit Gozo. Maltese people of my age do the same, probably. It is the most important Marian shrine in Malta and is built on a field where Mary is said to have appeared to a local farmer women who was returning home from a day working in her fields.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's on yesterday's picture. Very much appreciated.
