A break from my Barcelona holiday album which is still far from ready.
Malta is a very small country but there are still many places I have never been to. Fomm ir-Riħ was one of them until some days ago. And this is a view of the Malta-Gozo channel which I stopped to capture as I was driving along a very narrow country road searching for the place. Gozo is the land furthest away from the camera.

Fascinating to see how close Gozo and Malta are - lovely light and colours. I've just checked, because something you said got me wondering. I remembered my father was stationed there in the Royal Navy just after WW2, and his stories of those who did not volunteer for some duty having to run around around the island. Malta is 27km in circumference - that's not a big country.
( I`ve visit all parts of our country . Some more less as I like the flat side. )
