ST PAUL'S ISLANDS by sangwann

ST PAUL'S ISLANDS

St. Paul's islands are two small islands (if you can call them that) cut off from the mainland by a few metres. Traditionally they are to have been the islands where St Paul was shipwrecked on his was to Rome. If you look closely you can see the statue of St Paul and a falling-down chapel near it. I took this shot from within a falling down stone hut about 2x2metres square. I had a quick shot because I was afraid the roof might fall on my head - in fact I didn't allow Max to come close in case he got hurt.
St Paul meant so much in this area! I'm glad you weren't fell down upon - if that is good English!
