Last Sunday was the feast of Sagra Cuor (Sacred Heart of Mary) parish church in Sliema. On the eve of the festa – as is done in all parishes – there was a fireworks display which I went to see specifically to take some shots of fireworks. As I sat on a low wall at the water’s edge with my camera and tripod at the ready I also noticed that miles away fireworks were being let off from two different angles celebrating the feast of two other parishes. I took over 80 shots and managed to take a few of the fireworks of one of the other parishes.
This is a first image of three shots. The two on the left taken at the beginning of the Sagra Cuor show, while the one on the right is from a faraway display of one of the other parishes.
Many thanks for your views, comments, and fav’s. They are very much appreciated.
Great bursts of color- the two parishes have complimented each other's display nicely although I'm sure they weren't actually consulting with one another! Great collage!
