Remember the song ‘Ring My Bell’ sung by Anita Ward - her only major hit?
From Blarney Castle we went to Cork. Not much to see in the city actually, besides the fact that it started to drizzle which together with a breeze you couldn’t hold the umbrella and take pictures.
We took a Hop-on, Hop-off bus but we only used it once to visit St. Anne’s Church (Church of Ireland) and its belfry. Max had some fun ringing the church bells as you can see in this collage while Ian and I stood there watching him. We continued up to the top of the belfry from where there was a magnificent view of the city. Christine and my daughter, Denise, waited for us on a bench in the church.
Thanks a lot for your views, comments and fav's.
I only ever saw the airport and a taxi ride from there to Killarney, where we began the Kerry Way hike many years ago. Loved Killarney. Interesting to see images of Cork here as we missed it really!
Wonderful collage...Fav, not far from Cork is Cobh and its one of my favourite places to visit, it was the first port I visited when I was a young Merchant seaman in 1965.
