CHURCHES IN ERICE by sangwann

CHURCHES IN ERICE

One thing common about these three pictures: they are each a merge of two shots. They are a few of the churches around Erice – most of them were closed, could be because it was siesta time (around 2.00pm). There wasn’t enough space to move back to bring in the whole scene in one frame so I had to take the merge option.
Left picture is the Matrice Church of Erice.
Right picture shows the belfry of the Church of St Julian.
Middle picture is inside the church of St Peter.

Thank you so much for all your views, comments and fav's - always appreciated.
You would never know about the merge - that's a good app! Also wonderful to see so clearly the size and magnitude of these historic buildings!

I love the design of the towers. So slender and tall.

All are wonderful shot of the churches. The first has a leaning building like the tower of Pisa.

Great shots of those beautiful buildings. Towers and interior.
( Did it as I loved the light on the tower. The church is made of several briks and destroy that image.)
