Along one side of the bay is an area with slipways for the boats, boat houses and open spaces where one can sit on a bench, relax and enjoy the view. Walking along this side of the bay is a statue close to one of the slipways that honours small Maltese fishermen with the man holding a small fish and a cat waiting for its share – picture on the right. In the left picture is a young lady who instead a bench prefers sitting at the water’s edge reading a book while enjoying the sun and the view.
