Not sure if cat belonged to the castle but there it was enjoying the catmint!
Took so many photos today it was really difficult to choose which to select for this project but I loved the soft colouring of this.
We took our visitors to Taste of Grampian - a super food festival held every June - and then on to Castle Fraser, a family favourite NTS property. You can have a lovely lunch in the kitchen there, now run by a superb French chef who does amazing food and uses the kitchen as his restaurant for evening meals. After exploring the castle we had a lovely wander round the walled gardens and a fun time in the play area which is all constructed very creatively using natural materials........a really memorable day out and enjoyed by all!

The cat was actually eating the catmint flowers! Had never seen that before though not having cats I am not really up on their habits! My friend Anna had not seen it before and she does have one! Cat sat there nibbling away ignoring the adults and children watching.
