In spite of the rain Meldrum Sports goes ahead and all the regulars turn up whatever the weather. When we moved here first it had a reputation as the 'Sunny Sports' but today certainly wasn't.
The park is just across from our house so I went to take some photos but not to stand around! Some of the events had to take place in the marquee, some were cancelled. http://www.oldmeldrumsports.co.uk/
As ever the music from the 'evening events' was house-shaking till 1.00 am. Then peace........till the birds started.
A familiar scene! I get kept awake when the village shinty team win (or lose!) and they want to celebrate (or drown their sorrows!) late into the night.
