Bye Dad

After a lovely weekend Dad took me to the train. We were rather alarmed when we got to the north side of the station and saw the train was already there......thought we were late! In too much hurry I grabbed my bags and said a hasty 'Bye', crossed the bridge - the train was unusually on the south side - and sat in the train for several minutes before it eventually left for Inverness. The moral of the story is "Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life!"
I read that in one of my books a few years ago and how right it was. Today I wish I had! But we'd had a nice week end and all being well I will see them both in 2 weeks!

Ah this is quite a sad picture , saying goodbye to Dad ! I can tell he's sorry you are leaving but you had a lovely time & am glad they keep well !!

Sad you had a hurried good-bye, but you are blessed in that you will be together again in 2 weeks. I wish I could see my dad that regularly. I know it was hard but you truly captured that bittersweet good-bye with the wave of your dad's hand. Keep the memories of your nice visit in mind and those 2 weeks will go so quickly!

@jmj hee hee that made me smile! @happypat @olivetreeann thanks! I am just glad that this project makes me capture special moments! I know the 2 weeks will fly! Last week of term at school followed by Holiday Club week at church with my daughter home to help! That is pretty good so time will fly!
