They have some lovely new signs at the distillery down the road from our house. Nice to see some visitors around too.
When we moved here in 1984 it was a really busy distillery but there were some years in the nineties when it was completely closed. Seems to be doing well now though still a smaller workforce than in the old days!
Apparently some of their whisky is excellent but not really a whisky fan myself!
Nice shot- I like the contrast between the wood and stone colorwise as well. There's seems to be a growing interest in tourism for sites like this. I don't know if they'll reclaim their status from the past, but they'll probably manage. I'm not a whisky person either- so I'm no judge on the subject.
