I loved this map of Orkney on the wall of the Visitor Information Centre in Kirkwall. Everyone in the centre was very helpful and we picked up some lovely leaflets, maps, etc to help us explore some wonderful places!

It is lovely isn't it - I think it was ceramic tiles/mosaics.
The art and creativity in Orkney is outstanding and no sign of the 'tacky' 'pseudo -scottish' rubbish that you get in some parts of the country!
