In spite of our bitter winter the herbs in my patio border produced abundantly!
In Sunday sunshine I gave some a trim! And last night we really enjoyed fresh lemon sole from fish van Fiona (special for the day) cooked with some of the fresh herbs (marjoram and thyme) and some some left over bits pieces tossed in a hot pan! Delicious and I haven't used the herbs like that before..................will again!

Thanks - the herbs weren't actually growing in the basket....but I can see how you thought that. The trimmed plant is just behind the basket I put all the 'harvest' in! Anyway they added an amazing flavour to our meal and have inspired me to think of different ways to use them!
That looks like an amazing meal! I'm thinking next year that I'd like to try growing herbs in pots on my deck. We'll see- I always think, but sometimes don't follow through on the do! Great collage and wonderful cooking tips!
It looks so amazing ... inspires me to pay more attention to the few herbs I have growing. Awesome presentation in both shots individually and of the two shots together. And thanks, Sarah, for the fav. The inuksuk shot was a fun shot for me to capture a memory of a great morning drive so getting such a great reception from the viewers here was a really nice bonus .... much appreciated.
