Yesterday I went with a friend to see some of the local exhibits at the playbarn just on the edge of the village. It was a nice walk and we had a lovely coffee and saw a few of the huge range of work shared by artists and craftspeople in the North East each year at this time.
The North East Open Studios (NEOS) is an award winning collective of artists, makers and galleries based in the North East of Scotland run on voluntary grounds as a community organisation.
One of my friends is a silversmith and I love to wear the different things that I have made by her. There were some others displayed in our Town Hall and all over the area little temporary Galleries popped up. Difficult to get round them when it's term time, but nice to see even a few.
