(For Tuesday) - I'm knitting and enjoying it......even managing to adapt the pattern a little! And so far so good. Had hoped to finish it for being in windy western isles but need to order more wool.
This is very special wool I bought in Orkney on holiday.... http://www.isleofauskerry.com/
and the family who live there are friends of one of my friends here in Oldmeldrum!! Small country small world.
Wonderful Sallie, I love the earthiness of this beautiful wool & am so impressed with your talents !!! I have done a bot of cable myself but not to this extent...I am looking forward to seeing you wear it !!!!
@happypat this is the most complex cable pattern I have ever done but was getting the hang of it by the time I finished the second front!!! The undyed wool is a lovely colour. Will post a photo when ready to wear!
Thanks for the follow, Sarah. This is just beautiful - the wool looks luscious and the cable pattern just wonderful. I'm working on a wrap done with Irish linen and cotton designed by an Irish woman, Maggie Jackson. I should finish it in a few days and will post the finished project. By the way - I also really like the way you have displayed this with the pattern photo. Could be in a magazine.
Looks wonderful - great composition - I really like the way you have included the picture from the knitting pattern it could be an illustration from a knitting magazine :-)
