Yesterday was rather damp but I spent part of the day at the new library at Aberdeen University with Astrid, my lovely study buddy!
We hadn't been before so there was some form filling etc to be done to get our electronic swipe cards etc using our University of Strathclyde cards.
Last year I enjoyed some lectures at Aberdeen University and though most of my student day lectures were at Aberdeen College of Education (now demolished) my teaching was jointly awarded by the two - unforgettable graduation date - 7th July 1977 - 7.7.77
In the photo link you see this new library from the left side with the library where I used to study being demolished .....now gone and very nicely landscaped.
This is a controversial landmark but I rather like it!
