This lovely photo of my parents was taken at a wedding last May - they don't recall who took it but my aunt (the grandmother of the groom) sent it to them just this week. We love it and have circulated it round the family electronically.
They are both 86 now and have been married for 59 years. What a lot of love they have shared with everyone who knows them....and each other! You can tell I think!
They are lovely! I am snooping back through, you are a case study for me on someone who has continued after 365 but who seems very balenced in life. Hubby is NOT in favor of me continuing because I have not been so successful at the balencing. I really think I could do better.... Any way - THIS pic is so inspiring! They are just beautiful!
@nana2r Hi Carren thanks for your comments - I think my husband would question whether I am balanced in life!!! but he knows I get so much out of my photo project and I think I'd be lost without it. But we are 'child free' so that makes more time for me and I love keeping up with beautiful things and friends around the world so try to keep going. It's also a wonderful record of a fairly ordinary life! I loved your comment on your 365th photo page and so agree with what you have written there. We have an awesome God who has shared so much love and beauty with us on a daily basis and it's good to reflect it.
I wonder if you are on Facebook - you can find me there and happy to add you as a friend if you are. Would be nice to continue some links from time to time. Or Twitter @SallieB56 or email sarah_bremner@btinternet.com
I'll probably delete this in a couple of weeks but hope you have a great trip. Surprises are lovely. And do come to Scotland if you can. Would love to show you around!
