The gardens at Pitmedden open on May 1st and we went for a wander to this favourite local NTS property. We met a family with 8 month old twin girls, and an older brother and sister...running around the maze of hedges just like our little lot used to do.
Lovely cup of tea and 'fine piece' as they say in these parts!!
Still chilly and I noticed some oil seed rape in fields with tiny glimpse of yellow......lots of catch up still to happen there!
Three good things
1. No rushing around Sunday.
2. Shared cooking! Allan at lunchtime and me ....later!
3. Nice outing with friends and friendliness so evident!
