Bennachie and the Garioch

I so loved this photo when I saw it on the computer! I missed a photo yesterday so catching up and was spoiled for choice as the colours were so fabulous when I was out for my 'walk-jog' this morning. I took a different route and found some really lovely places where meadow and woodland is being nurtured in between lots of new-build areas. Very sensitively done! And that's important when you live in a beautiful part of Scotland! The Garioch is the area of Aberdeenshire by the River Ury and its tributaries the Shevock and the Gadie Burn (according to Wikipedia!!!) and it is just gorgeous. Never looks the same two days in a row!
Three good things
1. Life in this corner of Scotland is a delight
2. Busy busy busy in the garden.
3. The luxury of a soak in the bath after lots of bending and digging and lifting!!
I'm going to enjoy it - hope I don't fall asleep!
Beautiful, and I love the framing. Fav!
