The Pitscurry Project by sarah19

The Pitscurry Project

My friend Ruth always takes me out for lunch in summer holidays and today we went to a very special Cafe and Garden not far from home.
It was an amazing and inspiring outing. We had delicious panini and salad lunch, met some friends and had a catch up chat and then went for a walk round the gardens and workshop areas.
The project provides training, support and work for adults with learning or physical disabilities and it was a joy to see the imagination and creativity that has been generated as they work together in the garden, in 'The Buzzard Cafe' and in the craft workshops.
Three good things
1. The pleasure of eating places and gardens
2. The support and investment of local companies in worthwhile projects to enhance the lives of those who live with physical challenges.
3. Colour, music, patterns, flowers, vegetables, sculptures..........and so much more.
PS I particularly love the multi-storey Bird and Bat house on the left!!
Thank you Ruth!!
