pitmedden apples

Tuesday - catch up .....
This is definitely better than photos of all the cleaning and sorting I did today! I took the photo of the apples at Pitmedden yesterday when I had afternoon tea with a friend in the National Trust coffee shop. We had a brief walk round the garden after and the apples are weighing the branches down. So lovely for them after their disappointing crop last year.
Three good things
1. Left the house clean and tidy ....good feeling and nice for Allan when he got home later
2. Went to the funeral of a friend of my parents in the next village to ours. Jean was 96 and lived in Tain when I was a little girl. Nice to be able to go along and met her daughter and grandson who I hadn't seen for many years.
3. Safe travel - picked up my friend Julie and enjoyed her chat as I drove north. So often I travel by train but in the summer it's good to have space to take things up - and back!
What a wonderful crop!
