Baleshare is a village on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides where my grandfather grew up. After he died my granny moved to this little house and called it Baleshare. She lived there until she died aged 98! The house is just down the road from Mum and Dad's and today I noticed the swallows swooping and perching as I walked by.
