Allan was standing at the window when the lovely white feather landed on our window sill. He brought it in and it was rather soft and lovely.....but curiously no bird in sight.
I made some cakes....must be in the mood after the birthday ones this week. I took one along to my friend (who has just moved into a lovely house along the road a little bit ) as she's having visitors tomorrow. She's in a wheelchair and can't do so many things now but is wonderfully appreciative when anyone does the tiniest thing for her. Doesn't that make it easy to do things?
And the other cake as you can see is being eaten at quite a rate!!!
When I went to find a spot to take the photo of the feather I opened the window to find .....two snails afraid of being washed away I think!
Three good things
1. Lots to do in the house on a wet day.
2. Favourite cakes and good friends.
3. Count down on? Seven weeks from now we will be on the way to Melbourne!!! Big smiles.....all being well that is!
