Coming up to Mum and Dad's by train today I smiled at the sign on the west side of the train as we stopped at a recently re-opened station at Conon Bridge! This was a positive development when there were significant roadworks on the Kessock Bridge and the station was opened to encourage commuters not to use their cars while the work was going on.
Wild and wonderful scenery on one side of the train, tidy new platform on the other.....quite clear really where one should get off!
