Tidied all the Christmas things away. ...a little early. Our tree lights went out on Christmas night and the only ones we could find in shops didn't do much for me. ..must replace them before the rush .
I labelled lots of little snack bags a few years ago so now it's easy to know what goes where. ..and maybe Connor and any other little people who arrive in our family will enjoy the stories when they are bigger.
Three good things
1. Train to Tain was cosy and glorious sunshine after grey and wet days.
2. Visiting family friends with mum and dad. We knew each other well when I was little and lovely to catch up. Hadn't seen their son for thirty years but he still has the same smile.
3. Good to chat and laugh at little things. We have a neighbour's funeral tomorrow which will be hard for mum and dad. His wife and family are just a little older than me and my family and such good friends when we're here .
