Went to a concert (fundraiser for charity in Africa) with some good friends. It was lovely to hear Ian White sing again. Last time the three of us were in a congregation he was using as 'backing' for his new album which is not yet released. And when the children were young we sang along to his psalms and songs while driving to church in Aberdeen.
Three good things
1. Fun ways to raise funds for worthy causes!
2. Singing.......though my speech therapist would say I had over-used my voice tonight
3. Memories generated by special music of the past.
I think it is so neat when we see fund raisers like this for those who are in such need. It is just a shame we as a world cannot find a way to solve these crises
