We had a nice day out....went for a drive to Alford and found this lovely shop. But we did feel rather sad as so many of the other lovely shops we used to enjoy browsing had closed down ........and even the hotel we used to stay at with friends wasn't open till 3 o'clock!! But we found a place for lunch and went to visit a cousin of Grandad Bremner who we'd not seen for a while. She and her husband gave us such a lovely welcome!
Three good things
1. No rush in the morning as we were both on holiday
2. Sunshine as we drove familiar roads
3. Good to catch up with extended family we see too little!
