Across the road from David's school in Kiev....... we were told about this awesome cake and coffee shop. Usually we were quite restrained and shared a cake as it wasn't long after breakfast. The girls were so lovely and did their best at English conversation, but really smiles and thumbs up is all you need to let them know that you love their place. We had some of these cherry tarts and some strawberry ones for dessert on Saturday.
Now I have just realised that a week has passed since we got home!
Three good things
1. Children all seemed happy to be back at school today and had grown over the holidays.
2. Finished my holiday ironing pile and tidy up this evening
3. Nice to have so many Kiev photos to look back on especially when I haven't had time to take any today!
