Had a lovely wee outing to Balintore this afternoon with mum. So nice to see the harbour restored after the terrible damage from storms a couple of years ago.
And it was such a blue day! I captured the little row of cottages when I came out of the little shop that sells lots ....bought some ice creams for us to enjoy while we sat in the car and watched the waves.
On the way back we saw quite a lot of brave young people in swimming gear and towels.....brrrr...too chilly for me!
Three good things
1. The electrician came just as we were about to set off :) to replace the bathroom light which had fused and caused a bit of panic at 1.00am! Lovely guy who knew Dad from school years and couldn't have been more helpful.
2. Really warm and beautiful day - not often I go down to the shops in short sleeves!
3. Lovely coffee catch up with mum and her young friend who celebrated her 90th birthday the other weekend!
