along the garden path

At this point the plants are tumbling over the path.....
Sometimes I'd like to dig everything out and renovate the stretch of border but I can never decide when the best time is!!
Three good things
1. Two more sleeps and we have the last day of term!
2. Lovely strawberry tea after school to 'celebrate' retirement of a great colleague. We are going to miss her so much!
3. Leftovers for tea.....I made lasagne the other evening and it was plenty for two evening meals + Allan's lunch. And I'd bought the lasagne that you have to cook in boiling for a few minutes before adding to the layers. It was so worth it! I don't think I'll bother getting the 'non-cook' variety again. This was just the best in ages!
Your flowers are lovely! Enjoy your last few days of this term! We finished two weeks ago and It has been nice to have some time work out in my garden.

I must try that...I always use the ready cooked sort. Must look out for that......don't know what it looks like but can ask.
I think Scottish schools break up before ours.....you will be ready for a rest!
Lovely floppy natural border!

@happypat :) just had a look and some people put the no- cook variety in boiling water for a few minutes so perhaps that is as effective!

@busylady Thank you Judith - you're very kind. I just find some things catch my eye and want to save them for a rainy day!!
