I had a lovely time selecting and arranging recent photos of the 'B Team & co' for this college last night, while Allan was watching the world cup football. I like the idea of following how some teams are getting on, but like to have something to keep me amused and my hands busy!
I seem to have found photos with lovely soft light and liked the effect. It was really for my twitter profile but I mostly follow rather than tweet (great for learning though!) But I felt it was a good picture for 365 which is, for me, about having a diary of the year and enjoying photos and life shared by you out there, which I really love.
I can feel myself relaxing already now school session is over, looking forward to seeing Connor and David and Jenn in August, and grateful for each individual in the family and where they find themselves right now.
Gratitude is good - I think it energises me and fills me with hope and joy. And Leonard Cohen is just singing his 'Hallelujah' song on the radio which seems rather apt!
Feeling very blessed and surrounded by love and care, and all your comments and encouraging words add to that too. Thanks for that!
Tomorrow I go to Mum and Dad's for a week, where all of it started and where I learned about God's love and family love and caring friends all around. And that is ongoing though now the roles are working differently and they appreciate what I can help with. And that takes me back to where I started ...gratitude is good.
Have a good day and a good week!
You are so good at these collages Sallie...I never like mine when I do them, the look messy & uncoordinated but yours are very pretty & blend. Like you I like watching through one eye what's going on in these sporting things but do like something else to do. Enjoy your school break...you will be busy visiting family & spreading your sunshine around....a more contented person I never met than you.......an example to us all in faith & love.
A fine collection of photos Sarah, and glad to hear you are enjoying the more relaxing life at the moment. And also hope you have an enjoyable week with your Parents.
This is a beautiful collage- one you could hang right up on the wall as is in one big frame! I love your thankfulness. I feel it myself, although I don't have joy of being able to go to see my parents now, they will always be in my heart! And someday I will see them again and be with the Lord I love too. Wonderful collage!
