down the brae to Auntie May's home in Waternish

This amazing view is Allan's favourite in the world. It's where his mother's family lived for generations past and where he had happy childhood holidays.
In this glorious sunshine it's awesome but there are also days when you can't see the little islands for rain and mist. And Auntie Mary has to be prepared for gales and power cuts at any time of year. She'll be 90 next birthday but is still able to live by herself with fantastic neighbours and some nephews who have retired recently and moved back to their family homes nearby.
Three good things
1. Fantastic weather to see the very best of Skye
2. Introducing Connor to more family members.....and they hadn't seen David for a very long time!
3. Lunch with cousin Ewan and Dorothy and brilliant pizzas at teatime at Broadford on the way back to Sabhal Mor in the south.
Neat composition and love the different layers of vegetation, water and islands.
