Well we've embarked on a food experiment as part of a study at The Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health in Aberdeen, studying the impact of gluten / gluten free on the system!
I've been gluten free on and off for over 10 years so was keen to take part.
Last week we had to weigh all our food on scales provided and keep a food diary! It was quite a revelation and I even found myself avoiding biscuits and tea in the evening as I'd have to put it in the book!!!
For the next three weeks we are totally gluten free. Thankfully we can still have some treats and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, a glass of wine and chocolate now and again!
