Delighted that my orchids are doing nicely in our family bathroom.....I go in there too rarely really as we have a very nice ensuite! But this morning they made me smile and tonight after having my hair cut I thought I'd put my camera on timer and here we are!
We had both bathrooms completely refurbished last summer but didn't really mention it on here as it was all 'hush! hush!' until Laura and Iain came from Australia in September....even Susannah in Edinburgh didn't know what was going on!! Much appreciated all round and I love everything about the upgrade! Was fun to see their faces.
Three good things
1. Chop chop at the hairdresser! I have such thick hair and it grows at a crazy rate. I'm not complaining - I know I'm quite lucky and healthy!!
2. Half term is here....glass of wine after dinner
3. A good chat with a friend who has had surgery recently. She had a good visit to hospital today - hugely supportive team.

Very tall orchids Sallie, you must know just how to look after them! They obviously like your new bathroom! What a treat having them both done, I find the bathroom is sometimes a neglected area & something thats the last to get any money spent on it although I do think times are changing!
@happypat I agree Pat! Ours had been waiting too long - the only shower in the house was in our ensuite so when the B Team were growing up they would traipse through our room.....worse when they brought friends!!!
Now we have two showers - so Allan and I can each have at the same time if necessary hee hee hee!!
