tulips on the wane

This is from last week.....when I got back last night the poor things were really on their last stalks. And didn't get any photos taken today.
There was a tiny sprinkling of snow this morning but we have had a lovely day and it was very pleasant walking back and fore to school. Just looking at the weather forecast and I think it may change by the morning.
Three good things
1. Delicious lamb casserole for dinner - source was sister Kate who has sheep on her croft in the West Highlands!
2. Left over little sweet treats with coffee after dinner.
3. Tissue pack.....needed again, but at least it was okay when I was at Mum's for the weekend!

Pretty tulips - they seem so variable in the time they last. I love lamb casserole or roast but do not like to think of the meat coming from sheep, even if they are well looked after - what a hypocrite I am.
