From the train on my journey north....there's quite a lot of snow lying on higher places and along the railway line as we reached the sections of the journey further away from the coast. I need to investigate what the two towers are.....perhaps something to do with the distillery quite close to the line at this point.
Or maybe not.
I love this stretch of line close to Leith Hall, a favourite National Trust property, but not at its most beautiful at this time of year. Please Spring come soon.
Three good things
1. Wakened in good time so no rush to the station.
2. Early morning train so much quieter than after school ones!!
3. A gentle snooze for 20 minutes before my destination 😴
You did well from the train Sallie, I can never get a decent shot from a train window. You are still quite in the grip of late winter there I see, not much green yet!
