Just for the diary really ....this was the scene at the village hall before the party for our friend. She was head gardener and the flowers for the tables were in containers rather like large strawberry punnets. They were gorgeous!

Three good things
1.Breakfast in sunshine, lunch in sunshine and work and rest in sunshine!
2. Fabulous food, friends to catch up with and a superb farewell evening for a fantastic leader at our closest National Trust property. She will be missed!
3. Still sunny on the way home!
