It was the day for the annual Oldmeldrum Sports and Highland Games ......after a fairly bright morning the rain came and rather dampened things! This couple were in an ideal location - with their rug, refreshments and sheltering under the trees with a good view of what they wanted to see. The massed pipe bands are approaching!
Three good things
1. Catch with friends at the Messy Church tent
2. Afternoon snooze.....I was so needing that!
3. Visiting friends and a lovely meal with John and Dot.....followed by endless stories and a few samples of Allan's whisky collection!
