Today we went to Edinburgh to collect Susannah's stuff which she needs to leave at home and later on decide if she needs it or not!
We had a fun hour and a bit together and then time to head north to Perth again before going home tomorrow.
It's a bit of a landmark in life when the 'baby' of the family flies off making her own big decisions, and I did need a hanky as we drove away, but she's come so far and coped with big challenges really well. And Amsterdam is only a short flight from Aberdeen.
Three good things
1. More fun at the museum with little guys who said they wanted to go back 😄
2. Beautiful drive in sunshine to Edinburgh and loved the new Queensferry Crossing.
3. Fitted everything in the car and 2 passengers for the final 10 miles.....and pizza with the family and friends when we got back.

Thank you for your lovely comments
So we're getting used to international children....Kuala Lumpur, Kiev and Cairo (David...+ Jenn and little guys), Melbourne (Laura +Iain) and now Susannah (Amsterdam). Makes for interesting holidays and always nice when they come home.
It's a small world....and also enjoy that Jonathan seems happy 20 miles away in Aberdeen!!
Some families do and some families stay in the same town! We have children and Grandies in Manchester, Japan, Canada, Brisbane, Perth and two in the same country as us.
Good luck in Amsterdam Susannah, I know you will be a great asset to that city & make a success of whatever you do.
Amsterdam is only next door for you Sallie, you have two much further afield!
Our daughters studied and had jobs in Leeds, Dublin, Denmark, Mexico...
