Connor loves looking for Bennachie when we're out and about as it has such a distinctive profile. So today David and I climbed it with the little guys. David took this photo of Finnley and me walking and talking on the way up. It was warm and pleasant with a little breeze. When we reached the top we could see Oldmeldrum and in the other direction the clouds bringing the rain. We were a little soggy by the time we got back to the car but it was all part of the experience.
Three good things
1. Friendly people we met on our walk / climb, especially the lovely lady who gave each of us a jellybaby at the top.
2. It's quite a long time since I did this last but coped pretty well and not too weary afterwards.
3. Delicious chilli with cornbread for dinner....thanks to Jenn and David 😁
I had to find out about Bennachie. Learnt about Bennachie walks, but I read something about a giant Bennachie too...that's the one Connor is looking for?

It's the highest hill in our part of Aberdeenshire and can be seen from all around. So we had great view from the top!!
Must google it too Bro.
Thank you for the lovely comments 😁
